Privacy Policy

Bhavya Jewellery ("Bhavya", "we", "us") sells earrings through www.bhavyajewellery.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Order details. When you check out, our payment provider Stripe collects your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, and payment details. We receive your name, email, phone, shipping address and what you ordered so we can ship it. We never see or store your full card number.
• Email sign-ups. If you join our list, we store your email address, the date, and your approximate US state or country (worked out from your connection, not your exact location).
• Messages. If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you.
• Your bag. The items in your bag are saved in your own browser (local storage) so they're still there when you come back. They aren't sent to us until you check out.

How we use it

• To process, ship and track your order, and to handle returns and refunds.
• To answer your questions.
• To send new-arrival and offer emails, only if you signed up. Every email has a way to unsubscribe, or reply and ask us to remove you.
• To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed with the services that run our shop:

• Stripe, to take payments (Stripe's privacy policy).
• Cloudflare, which hosts this website and stores email sign-ups.
• Google (Gmail), where our email is delivered.
• Shipping carriers such as USPS, which need your name and address to deliver.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

Cookies and tracking

We don't use advertising cookies. Stripe's checkout page may use cookies needed to process payments and prevent fraud. If we add privacy-friendly visitor statistics, they will not use cookies or track you across other websites.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed for tax, accounting and returns, normally up to 7 years. We keep email sign-ups until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws have these rights by law; we extend them to every customer. We will never treat you differently for using them.

Children

Our shop is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Security

Payments go through Stripe, which is certified to the highest level of the card industry's security standard (PCI DSS Level 1). Our site is served only over encrypted HTTPS.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
